B. Beall, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Beall graduated Magna cum Laude with a BS from Stephen
F. Austin in Nacogdoches, TX in
May 1984. From there, she earned her M.D. from The University
of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, TX in June of
1988.
Dr. Beall took her Internal Medicine Internship at the Department
of Internal Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences
Center in June 1989. She took her residency at the Department
of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences Texas Tech University
Health Sciences Center in July 1989. She continued on the
faculty teaching oculoplastics and pediatric ophthalmology
to residents. Dr. Beall received additional training in strabismus,
amblyopia, pediatric ophthalmology and eyelid plastic surgery.
Dr. Beall is a board certified member of the
American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is also a member of
the Texas Ophthalmological Association and the Smith County
Medical Society. She served as Secretary for the Phi Beta
Pi Fraternity in 1985. Dr. Beall is currently serving on the
board of Prevent Blindness and donates time for screening
of children in the Head Start Program.
